Paris Return
Yossi Aviram
Reoven Vardi wants to go back to Israel, the country he left over 50 years ago.
He is 75 years old, recently retired, and he feels that in Paris, he has almost nothing but Pierluigi.
When I entered their apartment during my last visit, I immediately noticed that the old Chairs are gone.
I'm selling them said Reoven. I do not need chairs dragged behind me when I go to heaven.
Clearly it involved more than just selling chairs.
Pierluigi is 10 years younger than Reoven. For him Israel is not an option and he is fighting Reovens pessimism and sadness.
Paris Retour is an intimate portrait of Reoven&Pierluigi, in a moment which might reflect in a way their life story and destiny.

Noemi Ben-Natan Schory
13 of the worlds most renowned chefs gathered in Jerusalem challenged to adapt their culinary art to the strict demands of Kosher dietary rules. The occasion was the King David Feast, a unique and prestigious gastronomical event.
14 Israeli chefs and over a 100 assistants were recruited to help the stars of the international cuisine. The teams slaved in the kitchen to create a 12 course meal, all from kosher ingredients.
In addition to their professionalism and constant strive for perfection, the chefs needed to use a lot of imagination to overcome the Kosher restrictions but still maintain their level of art work.
The film uses 3 teams to follow the meticulous preparations, discussions over the menu and the drama which occurs in the kitchen while the 350 guests are already in their seats.

Slaves of the Sword
Paul Jenkins, Ruth Walk, Itay Ken Tor
Moshe Dayan, Itzhak Rabin and Ariel Sharon, three generals who spent most of their grown life in the military and defense industry. Three generals turned statesmen. Have they ever stopped being military men? How was their point of view affected by their military experience? And why were they chosen by the Israeli public to head the political leadership through the historical turning points which occurred in the last three decades?
Golda Meir and Menahem Begin could have presented an alternative to the Israeli leadership. They were both civilians with completely different backgrounds from the Israeli born Sabra. Both of them represented agendas which could have become a real, more civilian alternative. Why havent they seized the opportunity to present a new, different approach? Why did they find themselves falling into the old patterns, relying on the military men only to find themselves victims to the decisions of the generals surrounding them?
Slaves of the Sword is a 5 part documentary series, a series about military thinking which defined Israels character.
The Inner Tour
Ra'anan Alexandrowicz
Filmed just a few months before the Middle East violent clashes of the year 2000 erupted, The Inner Tour is an unusual road movie which portrays the story of a group of Palestinians, who join a three day sight-seeing bus tour through the state of Israel. Out of this simple story about a group of people on a tour, a dramatic unfinished journey erups and visits reaches
the deepest roots of the Israeli Palestinian conflict, one of the most painful national conflicts of our time.
The youngest of this eclectic group is 2 years old. The oldest is 80. They come from different cities villages and refugee camps in the West Bank, Gaza strip, Jordan and Tunisia, and have very different backgrounds.
Yet one thing seems to unite them all, the place whice they are now visiting as tourists-Israel. whether on a beach, in an archeological site, a historical museum or a nightclub, the films protagonists see and experien the country in a different way than anyone else would.
And through these eyes looking out of the bus windows, a new, unique and strange portrait of Israel is created.
